STAMINA®'s success as a highly rehabilitative therapy results from its innovative muscle alignment techniques, pre and post treatment stability/strength testing and neuromotor retraining within an integrated full body system.

To be designated as a Certified STAMINA® Rehabilitation Therapy Provider certification in both Level I and II are required.

Course Description
Level I - STAMINA® Theory & Lower Quadrant Techniques
Level I - STAMINA® Theory & Lower Quadrant Techniques Course - 4 Day Intensive
In this course you will learn STAMINA® theory and practice for the lower quadrant which can be applied immediately to your practice. With the lower quadrant as the primary link in the kinetic chain, outcomes from many upper quadrant pathologies will also be improved or resolved. STAMINA® offers an overall improvement in assessment and enhanced outcomes for your patients in treatment of MSK dysfunctions, mild to complex in pathology.

As a foundational course, Level I will provide a solid understanding of STAMINA® in application to the lower quadrant and preparation for Level II - STAMINA® Upper Quadrant Techniques and Fully Body Integration to complete the system.

Level I Course Description:
  • Introduction to theory and tenets of STAMINA®
  • Historical foundation of STAMINA®
  • Anatomy of biomechanical engineering principles and STAMINA®
  • Integration of Manual Therapy and STAMINA®
  • Pathologies addressed with STAMINA®
  • Aetiology of malalignment
  • Mechanisms of Injury—Postural effects on Neurological Function
  • Stabilizing load management muscleTM groups

  • STAMINA® 'STARR' Treatment Protocol
  • Pre and post stability/strength testing and performance scale for lower quadrant

Course Description
Level II - STAMINA® Upper Quadrant Techniques & Full Body Integration
Level II - STAMINA® Upper Quadrant Techniques & Full Body Integration - 4 Day Intensive
With the completion of STAMINA® Rehabilitation Level I and II, therapists will clearly understand the significance of this full body integrated approach and the rehabilitative impact it provides for pathologies ranging from mild to severe. In this course, more insights are revealed regarding the importance of the psoas/iliacus in the kinetic chain for support of the entire MSK system and its interaction with the ANS. Assessment skills will become refined with this measurable system; even pathologies overlooked with other methods can regularly be observed and treated with STAMINA®.

Level II Course Description:
  • Patient education to reduce dysfunction action patterns for upper quadrant
  • Pre and post stability/strength testing and performance scale for upper quadrant
  • Intervention alignment techniques for upper quadrant
  • Re-education of neuromotor pathways
  • Full Body Integration of lower and upper quadrants
  • Effective troubleshooting - upper quadrant
  • Improve Your Efficiency
  • Implementing the STAMINA® model in your clinic
Note: A written and practical exam will be done prior to course completion to ensure learning competency.

Note: Students are to bring goniometer, reflex hammers, and trigger point tool to Level II course (provided in Level I Classroom Kit).

Provider Resources:
  • Post course mentoring in person at STAMINA® Clinic headquarters is available at no further cost for fully certified Level I and II Providers.
  • Access to online videos for technique application review and further study post course

STAMINA® Logo: For designation as a fully certified STAMINA® provider, completion of Level I and II is required. Upon certification of Level II, STAMINA® providers have access to the official STAMINA® logo for designation on websites and marketing purposes, along with a STAMINA® official decal for window display.

Graduates of Level I & II STAMINA® Rehabilitation Therapy have the option to mentor post course at STAMINA® Clinic & Academy in Lethbridge. This will give the opportunity to observe our STAMINA® Rehabilitation Therapists treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal pathologies. There is no additional fee for mentoring in clinic but the time needs to be pre-scheduled.
